  5. Woo Hoo! I am excited! And I just want to say, I love Vermeer's choice of point of view in his paintings. I think that makes a signature. Did you notice in the Astronomer, Milkmaid and Woman Holding a Balance there is the same window on the left? And all the paintings have the light coming in from the left (except Pearl Earring Girl). OMG! They are staged scenes! -Nat

  6. That's so cool. Like little glimpses of his studio. I really like Woman Holding a Balance. The detail is incredible.
    I thought it was neat how in the book it mentioned how in View of Delft, there was sand mixed with the paint to make the roofs(?) look textured.
